Nitzan Hirshberg
Undergraduate Student
Nitzan Hirshberg is a Physics major at the University of Maryland.
She is pursuing a degree in Physics with a minor in Math at the University of Maryland. She has worked in an Environmental Science lab researching anaerobic digestion and a Particle Physics lab working on the electronics update at LHCb throughout her sophomore and junior years. Currently, she is a member of the Galitski group, a Condensed Matter Theory group at the University of Maryland.
She cares a lot about making Physics more accessible to everyone. She has spent a few semesters TAing an intro level physics class. She plans to go to Physics graduate school to pursue Condensed Matter Theory.
